Arden car logos

The Arden was a British car built from 1912 to 1916 in Balsall Heath, Coventry. Beginning as a light and cyclecar a little gross, when production ended four years later he became a well-made four-cylinder car, with bodywork full four seater.

The first model of 1912 is an 8 hp V-twin, air cooled, 898 cc JAP engine cyclecar with a wooden frame. This continued in production until 1915.

This was supplemented in 1914 by the HP 10 or with a water-cooled, Alpha cylinder 1104 cc or 1094 cc four-cylinder engine.

A larger car, the HP 1701 with 11.9 cc engine was made in 1916 only.

A Arden, in 1913 Alpha twin cylinder two-seater model, is known to survive.
