




Alfa Romeo 2000 (102 series) is a car produced by the automobile manufacturing company Alfa Romeo Italian as successor of 1900.
First shown in 1957 at the Turin Autosalon, the car was produced in two models, the Berlina with 105 hp (77 kW, 104 hp) and the Spider with 115 hp (85 kW or 113 hp) since 1958. In 1960, Sprint has been added. The engine was an enlarged version of the 1900 displacement four-cylinder 1975 cc. The cast iron engine block and aluminum head with single Solex carburetor Downdraft produces 105 PS (77 kW, 104 hp) at 5,300 rpm in Berlin and the version used in Sprint and Spider produces 115 hp (85 kilowatts or 113 hp) at 5900 rpm sidedraft with two Solex carburetors. The 2000 Berlina gearbox worked through the column mounted shifter, making space for three abreast. In version Spider shifting was located in the floor and until 1961 it was pure two seater when 2 +2 seater came available.

The four-door sedan was manufactured by Alfa Romeo itself, while the other two were designed and manufactured by companies design Touring (Spider) and Bertone (Sprint).

The 2000 was replaced by the six-cylinder Alfa Romeo 2600, produced from 1961.
The Brazilian variant of 2000 was produced from 1960 to 1968 by Fabrica Nacional de Motores. She had the same engine of 1975 cc 95 hp (70 kW, 94 hp). The car FNM used the name "JK" JK standing for the Brazilian president Juscelino Kubitschek, the name was later changed to FNM 2000.
