Chevrolet decided to revive the flame of the Camaro in 2006 with the Chevrolet Camaro Concept, which made its official appearance in 2009.
Presented on the Zeta platform and equipped with LS3 V8 engine of 6.2 liters 426 hp (manual transmission 6-speed) or equipped engine LS99 6.2-liter 400 hp (automatic transmission 6-speed), it is also available in version 3.6-liter V6 developing 304 hp. The fifth-generation Camaro was found in 5 trims: LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS & 2SS. The LS and LT trims are equipped with a standard 3.6-liter engine while the 6.2-liter engine is available to the model SS. Editions 2LT & 2SS include Bluetooth, heated leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, etc..
The Camaro will be available in a convertible version in 2010.
The Chevrolet Camaro Concept embodies the robot Autobots named Bumblebee in the Transformers movie.
The convertible version will be produced in 2011 in Ontario [1].
