Almost all the major two-wheeler manufacturers in India have already started allocating resources for developing electric vehicles and a few big names of the industry have also announced setting up a separate vertical for EVs.

Let’s take a look at some upcoming electric two-wheelers in India.

6Surge 10k

Emote Electric manufactures the desire 10K electric bike. The Surge geared electric bike made its debut at the 2020 Auto Expo. Surge 10K electric bike features a distinctive boxy appearance. Surge is the first geared electric bike in India. It has a lot of handy functions.

The following are some of the Surge 10K's features:

A sturdy trellis structure. Metal tubes are used to construct the bike frame. These tubes form a triangulated reinforcing pattern. The lattice girder principle is used in the trellis frame. The Surge 10K electric bike has a lightweight frame. It has a high weight-to-strength ratio. It functions similarly to the bike's chassis.

Surge electric bikes will be available in two different models. Surge 10K and Surge 6K are the two options. Surge 10K will have increased power and range. It will be more expensive. The corona epidemic has caused the launch to be postponed.

Surge 10K's powertrain delivers a max torque of 28Nm at 2800 rpm.

5TVS Creon

The TVS Creon is a concept electric scooter that debuted at the 2018 Auto Show. It has a number of characteristics, including a Li-ion battery pack that generates 12kW of electricity. According to the business, this results in a 5.1-second 0-60kph time and an 80-kilometer range. Furthermore, the batteries can be charged to 80% in just one hour.

4Suzuki Burgman Electric

While electric scooters have only made up a small percentage of overall two-wheeler sales in India so far, things are moving swiftly, and Hero's arrival will only speed up EV adoption in the two-wheeler industry.

2Tork T6X

The Tork T6X is planned to be released in India in December 2021. The motorcycle will have a price range of 1,20,000 to 1,30,000 INR. Revolt RV 400, Revolt RV 300, and Ather 450X are currently available bikes that are similar to T6X. The Hero Electric AE-47, which will be released in November 2021 in India, is another bike that is similar to the T6X.

The Tork T6X is the first production electric motorcycle to be introduced in India. The T6X is positioned as an environmentally friendly alternative to petrol-powered commuter motorcycles, with several first-in-class features.

1Ultraviolette F77

The F77 was presented by the Bengaluru-based firm in November of last year. The F77 will be offered in two paint schemes (low and high) and two versions (low and high) (Lightning, Shadow, and Laser). Bengaluru is being targeted first, followed by other cities in a cluster-based approach.

The F77 is expected to deliver performance on par with most entry-level performance bikes. A 25kW electric motor with 90Nm of torque powers the Ultraviolette F77 electric bike. It claims a 2.9-second 0-60kmph time, implying that it will perform similarly to the Bajaj Dominar 400. The 4.2kWh battery has a range of 130 to 150 kilometers.

Ultraviolette F77 has a starting price of Rs. 3,00,000. The Ultraviolette F77 is available in only one variant: F77 STD, which costs Rs. 3,00,000.
